Executive Recruiter at Digital McKinsey. I am also the Founder of Food Mafia, Inc. After traveling extensively and moving around quite a bit, I decided to start Food Mafia as an easy way to find the best restaurants that are local and unique to each area I am visiting. I am currently eating my way through San Francisco!
Restaurant: Nobu
I have always been a big fan of Nobu, even though it is a larger chain. Great atmosphere and great sushi. The Scottsdale restaurant has the same modern vibe. I am always a fan of the yellowtail jalapeño sashimi, black cod miso, spicy scallop roll (not on the menu but a specialty), and the lychee martini (modified with Chopin vodka with lychee only)! This time we tried the Lobster tempura. It is a pricey dish but well worth it in my opinion!! Waygu dumplings were also good but less memorable.

Restaurant: Chaadin Teahouse
Loved the matcha latte and avocado smoothie. Fun area to sit inside

Restaurant: Zhou Yue Xuan - Four Seasons
This restaurant is in the Four Seasons hotel. Dress is smart casual but the service is very attentive and much more formal. I liked all of the Dim Sum I tried (in the photos). Great flavor and very delicate. It is definitely the feel of a hotel restaurant so if you want a more local feel it is probably best to go somewhere else

Restaurant: Lamberts Downtown Barbecue
Love the pulled pork. Great space and they don’t give you too much food. They also have an upstairs with live music

Restaurant: Ah Sing Den
Great atmosphere. We had the steamed shrimp dumplings, octopus and fried chicken and waffles. All of the dishes were great, the fried chicken was excellent. They are supposed to have a good patio but we sat inside, will check that out next time!
