Gjelina is a the name that jumps off everyone’s tongue when you ask about restaurants in Los Angeles. On hip Abbot Kinney in Venice, they are a little too cool for school, but the food is warm and inviting. After hearing about this trendy eatery on Abbot Kinney in Venice I had to try it for myself. Getting a reservation is usually difficult, but my experience was pretty good. The food and wine is superb. I recommend trying a bunch of small plates because honestly, everything we had was delicious! My favorite dish had to be the grilled nectarine & burrata cheese. The mushroom pizza, fresh oysters, quail w/ pomegranate are all amazing too. I've had brunch and dinner here and definitely prefer dinner. The restaurant is dark, trendy and can be loud but its lovely overall. I was not dissappointed. Bon ape tit - one of my favorite places in LA.
