I haven't been to Blackbird in a while but our meal was as great as it was the last time I was there. We had the endive salad which was light but also had a crunch and it was excellent. The fermented black bean cappelletti was so rich and good that after having one as an entree, one was ordered for the table - as a dessert! We sat on the patio out front and I highly recommend it if you can get it. Our server, Erin, is fantastic and has been at Blackbird for a while so she is extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu.

I didn't think there was a whole lot you could do with a sandwich, but the Short Rib Burger was unbelievable. It was melt in your mouth good. I was a little nervous aboout it being too fatty, but it was lean and juicy delicious. I also had the salad with pancetta and an egg on top, it was within a round potato crisp concoction, it was very good and the presentation was excellent. I hadn't been there in awhile, I would highly recommend checking it out and lunch was great too!

Paul Kahan's temple of cuisine is pitch-perfect every time we go. Not to mention, he put bacon on a chocolate dessert years before the craze started. A sleek yet unpretentious design, stylish and impeccably prepared modern food, combined with elegant and friendly service has kept us coming back again and again. And we can't wait to go again.

Went here for lunch after hearing good reviews and it was incredible! I had the Pork Belly sandwich with the fennel slaw and it was to die. Cooked to perfection and with the tasty sweet butter pickles, it was heaven. Also a full helping of garlic fried. YUM YUM YUM! Cannot wait to go back and try the dinner menu.

After numerous visits, I find it difficult to imagine a negative experience at Blackbird. The food is impeccable, service is excellent, and the environment is very classy.
