Burger Bar Chicago

I always go to Burger Bar when I´m in town. The owner, John, is super nice and serves great food. The burger selection is an excellent mix of classic and exotic and, despite the many variables in the available menu items, the servers haven´t ever slipped up.

I had dinner at the Burger Bar the other night before a play at the Steppenwolf Theater. I was with 3 other people and we all had different types of, what else? Burgers! Everyone thought the food was very good. Not only the burgers, but also the side dishes. I had the Tallgrass (organic) Burger with Swiss cheese and regular fries. Very satisfying. My partner had the Veggie burger with sweet potato fries. Delicious. The milk shakes looked good and I plan to have one next time I'm there. Don't plan on having a conversation during your meal, unless you are in to shouting. It might be OK depending who you're with. I noticed many young children and babies. They didn't seem to notice the decibel level and actually might have added to it. If your with the guys, you can be a little rowdy and no one will notice. They have their own parking lot (valet) and it's walking distance to the Steppenwolf. I would go back again.
