Description

DMK Burger Bar website states: If steer were meant to eat corn, they would have fingers instead of hooves to roll it in butter. That being said, it's high time that we pay attention to what the earth is telling us. "Eating grass fed beef will ensure our great grandchildren will be able to enjoy a #4"

Overview
As foodies there are a few places you just have to visit and DMK Burgers in Chicago is one of those places!! We indulged in several burgers. A turkey burger with roasted hatch green chile, fried egg, Sonoma jack, & smoked bacon, a Bison burger with goat cheese and blueberry sauce, and a salmon burger with Asian slaw and Thai curry sauce!! On the side is Mac and Cheese with onions and bacon, this Mac is delicious!! The Parmesan Cheese fries from DMK were also fantastic. They are some of the best fries we have ever eaten! The fries are served with a Truffle aioli! These fries are a must have!

I'm completely convinced they make their sweet potato fries with fairy dust. Hands down the best I've ever had! Not to mention, once my order was messed up and they brought our entire table free ice cream AND gave us all vouchers for a free draft beer...unexpected and much appreciated.

Overview
The DMK menu boasts exceptional quality, grass-fed beef, fresh baked buns, artisan cheeses + LOVE. As any Chef worth his salt will tell you, love is the most important (and mutable) ingredient, and yes, you can taste it in the food. The integrity and purity of the ingredients here are transcending. I had a fit of speculative nostalgia upon tasting the #7 (The Big DMK) thinking "I bet this is what a Big Mac would have tasted like in the 1950's" (before CAFOs and Monsanto). Similarly, Rufus Teague's smokey BBQ sauce on the #1 transported me back to summer cookouts in Asheville, NC. This is good, simple, and honest food. "Order a double, go ahead, Kornick says it's ok. Trust me, my father's a doctor." (from the mural on the ladies restroom wall).
