Overview
Goosefoot is located in a nondescript building in the Albany Park neighborhood of Chicago. The atmosphere is simple and straight forward. This is a fine dinning restaurant that also happens to be BYOB. They offered a nine course tasting which was very good. The corn soup course and preserved garlic served in an egg dish were my favorites. I thought all the courses were solid but none were mind blowing. The service was exceptional and your made to feel like a regular. NOTE: They recently raised their prices from $90 to $135 which is quite a bump up. The byob makes this more palatable.

Overview
EXCELLENT! Do not miss your opportunity to go to Goosefoot. There is a reason there is a long wait to get a reservation....The food is absolutely amazing and the service is excellent minus the stuffiness of other fine dining locations. I am not a seafood eater and they catered to my dietary requests with NO problems. I really appreciate this and it says a lot about their customer service. We did the 8 course menu and I can honestly say that I loved each and every course. The ingredents are so fresh, beautiful presentation and bursting with flavor. A few of my favorites were the roated quail and the sunchoke soup. DEVINE! Chef Chris Nugent and his wife Nina have outdone themselves and I look forward to coming back again and again!

Overview
We did the 6 course tasting menu and it was delicious. I had recently been to Schwa and Trotters and I would go back to Goosefoot first! There were a lot of dishes with a touch of truffle - the chestnut soup was possibly my favorite. There was creativity, yet at the same time simple so that you appreciated the flavors. It's BYO which is fun too, we brought sancerre, champagne and tempranillo which worked out well with the menu.
