Saigon Sisters

I got this recommendation from Amanda Puck aka The Foodarazzi and I was not disappointed! The inside is a small contemporary space. We decided to sit outside and while it was a nice set up, it was loud at times from the el. I ordered the bao with three different fillings, one was a burger, one was waygu beef, the other was pork belly. All were excellent in the steamed buns but my favorite was the burger. I also tried the Vietnamese coffe which I really liked. Another great aspect of this restaurant - 3 people can eat lunch for $36.00!

A great little spot to meet friends for lunch. Some Food Mafia members chatted over iced coffee and vietnamese specialties on the patio (which is a bit loud from the L). I'd definitely try this place again. I ordered the caramelized chicken rice bowl, which was served with perfectly cooked brown rice, slices vegetables, and sweet chicken. The iced coffee was always a nice twist and the waitstaff was very personable and helpful.

Last night I had one of the best meals I have had in a long time. This place is incredible- the staff is extremely knowledgeable which makes for a fantastic experience. The wine selection was the best I have seen in Chicago. The ambiance enhances the food which is hard to make something so delicious even better. The preparation was as beautiful as the taste and the chef is not only a fabulous cook but an artist as well.
